As s quick refresher, I'm Morgan, a sustainable health and fitness coach on a mission to help you build a healthy lifestyle that you can actually keep, where you can feel like your strongest, most authentic and confident self.

Story time.

“I am not good enough” “I am not worthy” “I am not lovable” are some of the stories I told myself for most of my life.

They’re stories I internalized from my childhood, and honestly, things I learned from having an alcoholic father.

They’re the pillars that founded my entire relationship with fitness, nutrition and the my own self worth, and the things that caused it all to crumble, over and over and over again, when I was chasing habits and practices from a place of deep insecurity.

They’re the things that led to the cyclical downfall of my “healthy” habits and patterns because they were so rooted in unworthiness, insecurity, and a deep lack of self worth.

It wasn’t until I intentionally turned inward - through journaling (I did this one for yearsssss before going deeper), meditation, breath work, and therapy) - that I was able to cultivate more self awareness to move toward the things that really served me.

It wasn’t until I better understood myself and my limiting beliefs, and took action to reprogram those, that I could invest in creating a sustainable, healthy lifestyle, build on the foundation of self love and worth and a growth mindset.

If you need a place to start - start by journaling. It costs nothing, can be done anywhere, and just takes time.

Reflect on your childhood, on stories and messages and beliefs you tell yourself, and brainstorm new things to tell yourself instead.

Then say those over and over and over again. Take action that helps you PROVE to yourself that you really believe it.

In time, you’ll start to believe new stories and new beliefs that serve you. You’ll start to really feel like your strongest, healthiest, most confident self - inside and out.

I'm telling you, so many of your struggles with fitness and food and your confidence and self worth are rooted in your past memories and beliefs. But you get to determine the meaning you give those things and how they impact your day to day decisions, and it all does get easier over time.
